Sex, Etc.’s blog, Beyond the Birds & the Bees: Sex Education for the Next Generation, is about addressing the realities of everyday teen life that usually don’t get talked about in sex ed classes.

It’s time to move beyond the birds and the bees—to take sex ed out of the classroom and into your everyday life. This blog looks at movies, music, video games, social networking, YouTube videos and more. We’ll use these important parts of teen life to talk about sex, love and relationships, birth control, pregnancy and other sex education topics. We hope our readers can begin to think about how sexuality shows up in their everyday lives and make healthier decisions about their sexual health.

This isn’t your parents’ sex ed—it’s sex education for the next generation!
