It seems like I am the only one that wants to talk about sex. Either people are too afraid or out there doing it without knowing the consequences. In some ways it doesn't seem fair to those people don't understand what could really happen to them. But those who are ill educated only know abstinence and waiting until marriage. What we teach in school about sex it not always correct and we should change that. Some kids only know what they here in school and what they hear in church.

First lets talk about those who are ill educated. All they here is that sex is wrong. Sex shouldn't happen until marriage. Masturbation is WRONG!! That is all they learn. In schools they are taught that abstinence is the only way. We may teach them about STI's  but they teach about STD'S which is grammatically incorrect because it's and infection not a disease. But we teach them about STI's but we don't show pictures we don't tell what could happen to them. We don't teach them the joys of sex either. Just how wrong it is and you shouldn't do it. Abstinence is right, sex before marriage is wrong. This is what we learn in schools. Sometimes that's all what these kids learn. They don't know anything more than what they are taught. How can they?

Then there are those girls who are out there already having sex at 13, 14, 15, 16 and up. Becoming teenage mothers, having abortions, and getting STI's. They aren't educated about contraception. All there taught is to wait wait WAIT!! But the curious mind isn't going to wait. If they want to experience it and are pressured into it, then there mind will take over and these girls and guys will be lead into temptation. I know girls who are already pregnant and in 6th grade. It is because of poor education about the subject. When your friends come up to you and are like "wow man this is amazing what did you think about it? Oh you haven't done it? You're still a virgin man?" Then you feel so left out and not knowing any consequences you go out there and do it.

We need to start getting better education in schools. They need to teach about contraception and the risks of having sex. STIs, pregnancy, and abortions are all risks of having sex and being poorly educated about the subject. When you don't know exactly what you are doing, do you expect someone to do perfectly. It's like taking an Algebra test without knowing how to do Algebra. We need better education in schools. So these teens who are turning into parents before it's there time, can at least know how to prevent it. That is what needs to happen.
