Why Am I Taboo? Who knows, but I’m sure there are a lot of us out there. Why can’t we teens just talk about sex or anything without people or anyone judging us? Some teens are afraid of talking about sex but then when it comes to "Doing It," they could care less about what people think. Then that’s when all the talking and judgment comes in. Therefore we become Taboo.
I think that more teens should be better informed about sex and not be afraid to talk about it. I also think that teens should be learning the correct information about sex or birth control and STI’s. Teens should have someone to talk to whenever they feel like talking about sex. I also think that schools should give out correct information and more information about sex, birth control and STI’s.
One place where I like to get my information from is Planned Parenthood. If I ever have any questions about anything I can go to the nearest Planned Parenthood there is and ask away. There clinics provide good and helpful services. You can get birth control, or STI test or information, they can also answer any questions that you have.
As a Peer Advocate for Planned Parenthood it’s my job to give out correct information. After a while when I hear other teens in my school talk about sex it’s sad to hear all the wrong information they get about sex. Sometimes the myths they talk about are outrages. That’s when I come in and help them out by giving them the correct information. But I think more teens shouldn’t be taboo and not be afraid of talking about SEX.
That is Why I’m Taboo!!!! ARE YOU TABOO???
