I consider myself to be a "feminist." I am a female artist, i support gay rights, and I hate war. But one thing that sets me a part from a lot of other people like me, is that I am strongly apposed to abortion.

Every eccentric teenage girl seems to be chanting, "my body my choice!" But shouldn't we, as a free spirited generation of independent women, support peace? I know what a lot of you are thinking...

"Of course we support peace, anti-war and pro-choice beliefs often walk hand in hand." Then isnt abortion hypocrytical? We are committing hate crimes upon people who absolutely can not protect themselves. I know one popular point of the pro-choicers is that the fetuses while in their mother, are not actually human beings. Why is that? Because they can't breathe on their own? Eat on their own? SURVIVE on their own? I invite you all to walk into a nursing home and take a look around, those descriptions fit many other types of people than the unborn.

I guess to me nine months and some pain seems a small price to pay for being the vessel of a new person into this world. Trust me, if I got pregnant as a teen I probably wouldnt raise the child, but I certainly would give him/her a chance to make it, which is what I believe every possible life should recieve.

Dont worry, dont worry, as a peaceful individual i do not discriminate for people who do not believe the same as me. But I was surprised to find out that when faced with opposition among their own ranks, many people retaliate and shunned me for being different. Hypocritical? I'd say so.

So why am I taboo? Because I am a Pro-Life Feminist.
