Am I the only one who wants to talk about why teens should be taught other topics in sex education other than abstinence? We all need to be educated on other ways to prevent pregnancy because there are other ways besides abstinence. If we get taught these things we will all have better knowledge on the topic and we could also have our questions answered without really needing to ask a person who is already educated, we could be educated ourselves. We should also be taught about some of the side effects of sex such as the possibility of getting an STD. We should know what some of them are and what they do to our bodies. Also how they are transmitted, and if there are treatments. This way we will be able to better protect ourselves from getting or transmitting one to someone else.
