So many schools around the world feel it isn’t important to stress the facts of sex on teenagers. Could that be the reason more and more teen girls are becoming pregnant at such young ages? Maybe these girls don’t know the risks and dangers of having unprotected sex. Most girls are probably thinking “that could never happen to me,” but they’re wrong, very wrong. Becoming pregnant can happen to anyone and not knowing the importance of safe sex and all the facts about being sexually active just makes the risk of becoming pregnant ten times more.
But what about the teenage boy? Where does he come into play? Most guys don’t see their girlfriend getting pregnant as a big deal, because they don’t know how difficult it is, especially when they are still children themselves. If every single high school around the world stressed the importance of safe sex and the facts you need to know when you’re sexually active maybe the way teenagers act would change. But then again, maybe that isn’t enough, some schools have sexual education and girls are still getting pregnant and young adults are still getting diseases every single day. If sexual education isn’t enough, what is? There has to be some way to show teenagers around the world the importance of sexual education.
How come it always seems to be an awkward moment or something to laugh about when someone brings up the topic of sex? It has become more and more clear to me that teens do not care if they have babies at the young ages and are getting sexually transmitted diseases. Some girls want to have babies when they are still in high school, they are all in such a rush to grow up and take on the roles of adults. I just don’t understand it. What is the point in even telling teenagers about being sexually active and the diseases you can get if they won’t even listen?
I don’t understand it anymore, why don’t any of these schools feel it is necessary to stress the information about sex and the diseases you can catch from having sex everywhere? In my opinion, it should be some kind of law to have a class teaching young adults about sex, pregnancy, and the diseases you can catch from having sex. There are so many young adults that don’t know anything about sex but they’re still having it. So many teens are getting there information about sex from all the wrong places. TV, magazines, all the media, almost everywhere you look someone is portraying the wrong view about sex. Yes, God intended sex to be a wonderful thing for us to experience but only when we are mature enough to handle it. The media makes sex seem like this wonderful, hours upon hours of wonderful sex, but they are taking away the real meaning of it. God also intended us to have sex only when we are “in love” and married to the person we are going to spend the rest of our lives with.
Sexual education should be in schools everywhere to help the teens who want it, to give them the correct information about sex and they should have people they can talk to about theses things at anytime to get all the information they want.
