Is it true that you can't get pregnant if you have sex in certain positions?
Ah, sorry, no. It doesn't matter if you're standing on your head. Any time sexual intercourse occurs between a guy and a girl, with the penis inside the vagina or right near the opening, there's a chance of pregnancy. So, if you're serious about preventing pregnancy, you must use a reliable method of birth control every time you have sex.
Methods such as condoms, the Pill, the patch, or the shot are all effective at preventing pregnancy. Even if semen leaks out of the vagina, there are still sperm swimming in search of the egg. If a guy ejaculates semen into a girl's vagina—no matter what position they're in—the sperm could swim into her body, join with an egg, and start a pregnancy.
