I'm not circumcised, and I'm afraid that when I have sex, my partner will be grossed out. What can I do?

Lots of guys worry about how their partners will react to their uncircumcised penis. The problem is, until recently, most baby boys were circumcised automatically, usually just days after birth. Now many parents are asking that their child not be circumcised.

So, any pictures we see are most likely circumcised penises. Those are the so-called “normal” ones. That’s why you feel different and worried about this.

The truth is, many men have uncircumcised penises and they’re just as beautiful as ones that have had the flap of skin removed from the head of the penis. Today, fewer parents are opting to circumcise their baby boys. Many don’t believe that circumcision makes for healthier penises.

So, try to relax. The right partner should accept you – and all your body parts – just the way they are.

in america its usual to get circumsised? i always thought
that was just a jew thing.. im irish and its more abnormal
to be circumsised here.. but we dont shower together after
gym class, so nobody really sees eachothers.. i think is
better to have foreskin, the sensation is better with it..

Foreskin is better!

Take it from me, having a foreskin not only feels better,
but is more fun. You should not be worried at all; if the
girl has a problem with it, there's something wrong with
her, not you.

Touchy subject

When I finally asked my guy weather he was circumcised or
not and I found out he wasn't I almost broke up with him. It
was simply because I had no idea what to do with the extra
skin. But I stuck with him and now I wouldn't touch an uncut
penis. Girls, an uncut guy is nothing to be worried about
it. All the girls I know who have had the uncut penis
experience loved it.

Is it different?: Response

Men with a foreskin have more sensation in their penis than
men without. So yes, in this way it is different. Also, men
with their foreskin need to pull it back before they put on
a condom. For some men this is impossible - period. They can
still use condoms, but they need to be real careful that it
stays on. For others, when it hurts to pull back the
foreskin that means there is an adhesion that needs medical
attention. Here's more from Avert:

Is it different?

Does having a foreskin make having sex different? Do you
have to do anything special with the condom?

Fearful of Foreskin? don't need to be

My current boyfriend is uncircumcised & like many girls out
there I was sort of akward about finally seeing/touching it.
Now I love uncircumcised more than circumcised. It feels
good that I can give him even more pleasure from his
foreskin still being there. So there is no need to feel
embarrassed guys (& girls)...it is the same part & works the
same way...but with a lil something extra! ^_^
