I (or my girlfriend) might be pregnant. How do I find out for sure?

To answer your first question, if sperm was able to get
inside the vagina, even if the penis was not inserted, there
is still a possibility that the woman could get pregnant.
The answer to your second question is yes, the hymen can
break without having sex. Many girls break their hymens
before having sex by using tampons, masturbating, or even
from different types of physical activity. I hope that
helps.

The only way to be able to tell for sure if you are pregnant
is to get a home pregnancy test or to get a pregnancy test
at a clinic, but based on what you are telling me, it
doesn't sounds like you could be pregnant. If your partner
did not ejaculate, then no sperm would have gotten into your
vagina, which is what is necessary for a pregnancy to
happen. Using the condom is good because it will also help
reduce your risk of STDs. You may just be stressed which is
causing you to be late.

I am not clear about what your question is here. Based on
the FAQ, I am guessing that you are worried you might be
pregnant. If no sperm got in your vagina, then you would be
safe. If the guy fingered you and he had a lot of sperm
(cum) on his hand from a very recent ejaculation, then you
might want to look into Plan B, but that has to be taken
within 5 days of the activity, so time is limited. Check
out this link: http://www.sexetc.org/faq/birth_control/971.
I hope that helps!

Yes, it's possible that when the condom was left in her
vagina that some of your sperm could have leaked out. If
this happened within the last 5 days, you can look into
getting Plan B. Check out this link for more information on
Plan B: http://www.sexetc.org/faq/birth_control/971. Good
luck!

The if the guy ejaculated before the condom broke and semen
could have gotten into your vagina, then yes...it is
possible that you could get pregnant. If he did not
ejaculate, and no sperm was released into the vagina, then
no...it is not possible. In the future, if something like
this happens, you should consider getting Plan B just to be
on the safe side. For more info on Plan B, check out this
