Can I get pregnant if he pulls out?

Yes. Pulling out, also called "withdrawal" and "coitus interruptus," is risky because the guy has to be totally aware of when he's going to ejaculate, or cum. Then, he has to have enough self-control to pull out before he cums, every single time. Just one mistake can cause a pregnancy.

A lot of guys, especially younger ones, are unable to control themselves, especially when they're so close to the pleasure of orgasm. Plus, a woman can get pregnant even if a guy ejaculates just a little bit of semen at the opening of her vagina.

Safer sex is not just about preventing unwanted pregnancy. It's also about keeping you and your partner healthy -- and free from sexually transmitted diseases, which can be spread both through pre-cum and vaginal fluids.

Pulling out is better than using no birth control at all. But it's unreliable and gives no protection against sexually transmitted diseases. Are you really ready to take those chances?

If you want to make an appointment at a family planning clinic to be tested for pregnancy and/or STDs, to get emergency contraception, or to get a reliable method of birth control, you can find one in your area by looking in your local yellow pages under "family planning" or "clinics." It depends on how each of you define virginity. Remember
that some people can still consider themselves virgins even
if they have participated in behaviors that can transmit an
STD, like oral or anal sex. Also remember that there are
certain STDs (like HPV) that can be transmitted from skin to
skin contact and oral herpes that can passed along by
sharing the same drinking glass as someone who has it. It
is important to talk to your partner early on and see how
they define virginity.

It is impossible for me to give you an exact %. The acidity
of the urine would probably kill off most of them, but with
waiting it is tougher to say. I would say that you should
always use a condom if you truly wait to be safe and avoid
unwanted pregnancy. Is it really worth the risk not to?

Just a question

both me an my girlfriend were virgins and had never been
touched by anybody else, and i am just wondering, is it
possible to get STD if we were both virgins?

So say...

[Sorry for all the questions, I'm just super curious and
want to be as educated as I can get about this stuff to be
safe] Relating to be previous ones. My boyfriend and I do
the pull-out sometimes, but It stresses me out, so we also
use the condom. But after the pull out and he 'goes' away
from me, he will either go pee then we go back. Or wait
awhile, like 10-20 min. OR do it with the condom. The
waiting, is there chances his little sailor semen are still
alive in his urethra?

Yes. If there is sperm left in the urethra that is still
alive, it can be carried out in the pre-cum if the guy has
intercourse again soon after the previous time. I hope that
helps!

Pre-curiosity 2

Having to with the previous question I had asked before. I
was also curious. Since there is always pre-cum, which like
you said cleans out the urethra. After a guy ejaculates,
there of course is left over semen in his urethra. Say he
goes to the bathroom, cleans it out and does it all over
again. Process of pre-cum --> Ejaculate. Is there a
posibility to get pregnant at all? Of course there's always
a chance, but from the pre-cum. Since he can't feel it, the
pull-out isn't extremely effective.

Great question. All men produce pre-cum. It's purpose is
to neutralize the acid that is left in the urethra so that
sperm can survive the trip out of the male body. The amount
of pre-cum that is produced will vary. So while your
boyfriend is always producing pre-cum, it may be heavier at
times and lighter at other times. In fact, it may be so
light, that it does not leak out of the urethral opening so
your boyfriend may not be aware it is happening.

Pre-curiosity

My boyfriend and I are really open with eachother about
everything, and I've asked him if he always pre-cums before
he actually "goes" and he said not all the time. I believe
him, but I'm curious, is this true? Do some guys not pre-cum
at all before they ejaculate and other times they do? In
other words... When it starts to feel really good for a guy,
do they always pre-cum or do they just skip that part and go
from feeling good to ejaculating?

RE: Help???

It depends on how soon after you had unprotected sex that
you got your period. If you had unprotected sex at the
beginning of August, and got your period at the end of
August, then you are fine. If you had unprotected sex, and
got your period the next day, then you will need to see if
you get your period this month. If no semen got into your
vagina, then there is no way you would be pregnant. However,
pulling out does not protect at all against STDs, so you
should think about getting tested.

Help???
