Should I stay home with my parents after I have my baby?

If you have a good relationship with your parents and they’re willing to help, this is probably the best decision, at least for a while. Taking care of a baby is a 24/7 job. It requires patience, time and money. If your parents are willing to provide a place to live and maybe other support, then you should accept their help. You’ll need it.

Also, remember to ask the baby’s father for help. Hopefully, he wants to be involved in his child’s life (not all guys do). Ask him to take responsibility for caring for your child during certain set times. He should also provide financial support. Even if he’s still in school, he can work part-time and at least contribute a little bit each week.

Grandparents are another option. Many teen parents live with their grandparents, maybe helping out with chores around the house in exchange for room and board.

having a baby is the hardest thing to do.i was scared at
first then i got use to the i that i am going to be a parent
by the end of this month. the father is here but our
relationship has really chaned a lot.poeple neve say what
really would go in a relationship because each one is
different.it is a big responciblity that you and your
partner have to be willing to take.so next time i will take
procautions so i won't have to be a parent of two until i am
older and ready.
