What are the pros and cons of adoption?

There are many, many pros and cons to think about. Here is a link to an online journal that can help you come up with more pros and cons for yourself.

Here's our list of things to take into consideration:

Adoption means being pregnant for nine months and then giving your child to another family to raise. It takes a lot of courage to make this decision. Many girls decide against adoption because they feel they’ll become too attached to their baby during pregnancy to give them to another family.

But, for teenagers who feel abortion is wrong or don’t want to have an abortion for other reasons, this can be a good option. Most people who choose adoption feel unable to provide for their child. They want their child to have a loving, stable home with enough financial resources to care for a child.

I think the pros of being adopted are your baby might be
able to have things that you couldn't give them. You could
make a family very very happy with a baby. But the cons of
adoption are...like me...they might get made fun of and have
questions they wanna ask you. So if i were you...i'd have an
open relationship adoption. or at least a semi open
adoption. So yeah thats what i think.
