abstinence-only education is almost always viewed as "false
advertising".my mother is an abstinence only educator, and
having a front row seat at the behind the scenes work.she
tells it like it is. She dosen't hide anything. She straight
out tells kids that sex is a GREAT thing...but it has to be
dealt with in the right manner(fires safe,in the
fireplace).I feel like abstinence only education is given a
lot of negative judgement told by people who are too
stubborn to open themselves to positives

Are schools sex-ed program isn't very good. The boys at our
school giggle if the teachers reporduction. The boys also
have crude jokes about sex.

At my school, I feel really lucky we have a good sex-ed
program that gives us all the facts about sex. We have
teachers that will answer any questions we have--I was even
able to ask about a PAP smear. I could never ask my parents
anything or they'd be suspicious of me. I wish all schools
could have a program like ours.

They should teach the entirety behind sex ed. The media
pressure's us to have sex at such an early age that most
kids aren't virgins in middle school. If you teach us
abstinence only then what message are you conveying : if you
have sex you'll die or something? This miseducation
contributes to most teen pregnancies and outbreaks of stds
in schools nationwide. Know the facts, know the truth.
