My Experience with sex ed...

I get my information about sex from:

Parent(s), guardian(s)School health or sex ed programs

Please tell us where else you get information about sex.

I know about sex Through Sex Eduction, School Health and My Parents

In one sentence, tell us what your first time talking with your parent(s)/guardian(s) about sex was like? Who started the conversation?

Well My Godmother Randomly Said it.She was like i know your grown up in to a young and beauitful women and now it come to the time were we need to speak about serious things like sex. I know boys and girl your age like to experiment and things leaded to another and you wont be the first or last teen to do it but if that does happen be the responsible one and use a condom or if yo worried ask for help. dont feel you need to have sex because everyone else is doing it being and be you and do it when you feel you ready not when hes ready. I was weird talking about it but it help me to understand that i dont have to do something i dont wanna do and dont do it cause they want you to do it. Dont Follow the crowd.

What do YOU think sex ed classes for teens should talk about? What was covered in your sex ed class? What do you wish was covered in your sex ed class?

Types Of Contraception

WAS covered in my sex ed: SHOULD BE covered in my sex ed:

• Masturbation • Menstruation • Abstinence • Abstinence as the only acceptable choice for teens • How to talk to your parents about sex • How to manage online flirting and dating

• Wet dreams • Different kinds of sex • Issues faced by gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans, or questioning people • How to figure out your sexual feelings for someone of your same gender • Fingering and hand jobs • Pregnancy options • STDs • How to talk to your partner about sex • How to decide if you're ready for sex • How to talk to your partner about birth control or safer sex • How to figure out if your relationship is healthy or not • Rape and sexual assault • How to know if your body is developing in a normal way • How to find a clinic

The most important...
For sexualty is a big issue. some teens find it hard to figure out wethher they ar straigh bi or gay. Some teens dont like the idea of bisexuality or homosexuality and find it hard to mix with teens that like the same sex or both sex.nTeens need understand the risks unsafe sex, under age sex, the rests of unprotected sex.

Do you have a story that you think should be on Sex, Etc. because it would help other teens? Write it here, and you and your story may be featured on the Web site.

Not that i can think of

If Sex, Etc. gave you $1,000 dollars to help teens get access to honest, medically accurate and balanced information about human sexuality and to help teens make responsible choices about sexual health, what would YOU do?

- For schools to give teens more information and support about sex and other issue e.g (period or puberty)
