My Experience with sex ed...

I get my information about sex from:

FriendsOther family membersMagazines
Internet

Please tell us where else you get information about sex.

I get all my Information from my Sister, she is 21. And she has helped me alot.

In one sentence, tell us what your first time talking with your parent(s)/guardian(s) about sex was like? Who started the conversation?

My first time talking to my parents..... well i started the conversation.... and it was with my mother. And she FLIPPED out on me, like she was screaming. So, yeah. not going to talk to her about it again.

What do YOU think sex ed classes for teens should talk about? What was covered in your sex ed class? What do you wish was covered in your sex ed class?

WAS covered in my sex ed: SHOULD BE covered in my sex ed:

• Masturbation • Menstruation • Wet dreams • Different kinds of sex • Issues faced by gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans, or questioning people • How to figure out your sexual feelings for someone of your same gender • Fingering and hand jobs • Pregnancy options • Abstinence • Abstinence as the only acceptable choice for teens • STDs • How to talk to your partner about sex • How to decide if you're ready for sex • How to talk to your parents about sex • How to talk to your partner about birth control or safer sex • How to figure out if your relationship is healthy or not • How to manage online flirting and dating • Rape and sexual assault • How to know if your body is developing in a normal way • How to find a clinic

The most important...
I think it is important for all teens to know that, THEY NEED TO BE SURE AND CONFIDENT IN WHAT THEY ARE DOING/OR ABOUT TO DO. Teens, if they are in love; should feel completely sure about themselves and there partner. And if they dont, they probably should reconsider sex.

Do you have a story that you think should be on Sex, Etc. because it would help other teens? Write it here, and you and your story may be featured on the Web site.

I will be completely honest with you guys, The first time i had sex with my boyfriend, hurt very badly. But, i thought to myself; that "i am going through this pain for myself and for him, because we love each-other we will go through it together." But, i started to cry during it and we stopped, and he kept saying "i love you, its okay. we don't have to do it anymore" So, my advice is if your planning on having sex, have it with someone you know will always be there for you, and someone who will give up anything just to make you feel better.- Meagan♥

If Sex, Etc. gave you $1,000 dollars to help teens get access to honest, medically accurate and balanced information about human sexuality and to help teens make responsible choices about sexual health, what would YOU do?

i would do alot. (sorry i dont feel like typing alot right now) :P
